A journey back in time

Castles and manor houses and the parks surrounding them are among the preferred destinations for excursions today. The Altmark is rich in these kinds of historic buildings. We would like to introduce some of them to you in words and pictures. Many are "living" houses, which open up to visitors or guests and integrate themselves into the region's cultural life.
